Common Queries
What types of home fitness equipment do you recommend?
I recommend resistance bands and ankle weights for beginners looking to workout at home. This is because they are inexpensive to buy, require no storage space, and can be used with no little to no experience.
How are you different from a regular gym trainer?
My passion and approach to health and fitness are what set me apart from so many other trainers out there. I believe that health and wellness should be at the core of any fitness plan, and that fitness should be accessible to everyone, at any age or size. I focus on creating fitness and nutrition plans that are sustainable in everyday life, no matter what that looks like for you.
Do you charge extra for nutritional guidance and a diet plan?
I do charge extra for personalized meal plans and client specific nutritional guidance. The personalization requires research of the client's current nutritional habits, lifestyle, physical condition, and goals. I do offer general nutritional tips and healthy meal ideas for free on my website and social media platforms.
What types of home fitness equipment do you recommend?
The most frequently asked question I get is which training style is best for fat loss. I always recommend full body strength exercises that will increase lean muscle mass, combined with short bursts of cardio forward exercises to raise the heart rate. This will burn the most calories both during and after the workout, and will have the greatest impact on overall fat loss. You cannot spot reduce fat, so it’s essential to get the whole body moving to lose it.
